What the role is
As Senior Manager / Manager (Office Services) of the Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA), you will be involved in setting up and managing the office services function in the agency.
You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to the CDA.
What you will be working on
Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day office operations and services for CDA divisions, including key facilities-related contracts
- Overseeing vendors to ensure office facilities are well-maintained
- Proposing innovative processes to increase operational efficiency and streamline office procedures
- Developing and implementing office service policies and procedures
- Supporting the implementation of Greengov.sg initiatives and ensuring CDA compliance with relevant rules and regulations
- Promoting sustainability awareness through internal communications strategies
- Preparing CDA’s annual sustainability disclosures
- Coordinating business continuity planning and crisis management, including maintaining the business continuity plan and promoting fire safety awareness
The jobholder may be activated for duties on weekends and after office hours as needed.
What we are looking for
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in office administration
- Tertiary qualification in any discipline
- Experience in planning and implementing sustainability initiatives and reporting is an advantage
- Familiarity with the Government Instruction Manual on Procurement is an advantage
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Effective stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Good team player
- Independent, self-driven, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and perform under pressure
