Job Description
As the Accountant at A*STAR, you will play a critical role in the financial planning and analysis functions across the organization. You will be an integral part of the FP&A team providing strategic financial advice to different stakeholders and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Review general ledger ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
· Ensure regulatory compliance with tax laws, financial regulations and corporate governance standards.
· Provide accurate and timely financial advice on the compliance requirements to support business decisions.
· Develop and maintain financial governance frameworks, including treasury functions and cash flow management
· Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
Job Requirements
· Preferably with a professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent)
· Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong technical knowledge, especially in the accounting and reporting standards
· Able to work independently and in a team to deliver outcomes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
