What The Role Is
The Culture Pass Unit is a newly established inter-disciplinary department within the Ministry of Culture, Community, and Youth (MCCY). This department is tasked with leading a groundbreaking national initiative aimed at fostering cultural engagement and participation among a targeted demographic within our community. The goal of this initiative is to democratise access to arts and culture, encourage exploration and appreciation of diverse local arts and cultural offerings, and support the growth and sustainability of the local cultural ecosystem.
What You Will Be Working On
You will play a critical role in ensuring that there is a healthy supply and diversity of events eligible for the SG Culture Pass by working with partners and stakeholders to facilitate applications from Arts & Heritage partners.
- Oversee SG Culture Pass online presence:
- Ensure SG Culture Pass website content is accurate and up-to-date, and that the events represented are sufficiently diverse.
- Coordinate across marketing and communications teams to ensure that the marketing and branding needs of the SG Culture Pass website are met.
- Support Ticketing Partners’ amplification and promotion of SG Culture Pass and eligible events, and facilitate the participation of Arts & Heritage partners.
- Training and Outreach:
- Identify opportunities such as workshops, webinars, and information sessions to educate potential applicants about the scheme and promote participation.
- Develop resources such as application guides, FAQs, and best practice examples to support applicants.
- Prepare presentations and training materials to enhance understanding of the application process and share insights on common pitfalls to avoid.
- Content support for applicants:
- Facilitate the content onboarding process for event listings to ensure a smooth user journey in listing eligible events.
- Coordinate across partners to ensure that the content support for SG Culture Pass applicants is adequate.

This role is ideal for an organised and meticulous professional who is passionate about supporting the arts and heritage sectors and ensuring that the SG Culture Pass website benefits citizens and Arts & Heritage partners a portal for programme discovery and credit utilisation.
Experiences
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a client-facing marketing, copywriting, or project management role.
- Experience in building positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with the local arts or heritage sector is advantageous.
Competencies
- Meticulous and organised, with a strong eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear, empathetic, and professional support to stakeholders.
