A leading law firm in Singapore is searching for an experienced IT Infrastructure and Security Operations Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure, security operations, and helpdesk support, ensuring stability and efficiency while aligning with business goals. This role requires strong leadership in IT management and cybersecurity, particularly with Azure cloud solutions, in a fast-paced professional environment.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer at Rajah & Tann Singapore, we are seeking an experiencedIT Infrastructure and Security Operationsto lead and manage our IT infrastructure, cloud environment (Azure), security operations, and IT helpdesk support.
The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in IT management, cybersecurity, and infrastructure planning, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT systems.
This role requires a proactive leader with hands-on technical knowledge who can strategically design, implement, and maintain robust IT infrastructure and security measures while supporting business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the firm's IT infrastructure, including on-premise and Azure cloud-based servers, networks, and storage systems.
Lead day-to-day infrastructure & security operations, including monitoring, detection, analysis, and response to security incidents and threats.
Manage and operate security tools and platforms such as firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Maintain and improve system hardening, patch management, and endpoint security practices.
Manage the IT helpdesk function, ensuring timely resolution of user issues, continuous service improvement, and adherence to SLAs.
Ensure proper documentation of support procedures, incident logs, and knowledge base articlesto enhance team efficiency and knowledge sharing.
Provide escalation support for complex technical issues, working closely with internal teams and external vendors.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure secure system configurations and access controls.
Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to support infrastructure and security operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in a similar role within the legal or professional services industry preferred.
Strong hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management and cybersecurity operations, including on-premise servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud computing (Microsoft Azure).
Experience with security operations tools such as SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, and firewalls.
Experience managing IT helpdesk functions and delivering high-quality end-user support.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, ITIL) are a plus.
