Job summary

Health Promotion Board (HPB) is seeking a dynamic communications leader to drive strategic communications and engagement for its Healthy Ageing Programme. You will shape combined communications strategies across media, digital and outreach channels to motivate participation and long-term health behaviours.

The role requires at least 5 years in strategic communications, with experience in healthcare or public health initiatives valued. A related degree and strong leadership will be essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in strategic communications or related roles.
• Experience in healthcare, ageing or public education is a plus.
• Degree in a related discipline.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, health-literate messages.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic communications and engagement for HPB's healthy ageing initiatives.
• Develop and oversee integrated communications across programmes to drive participation.
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior management and ensure delivery within budgets.
• Lead media, digital and on-ground channels with clear audience objectives.
• Govern public-facing materials ensuring accuracy, evidence-informed and audience-centric.
• Evaluate campaigns and translate insights into improvements and new strategies.
• Oversee planning and resource use across the portfolio; coach officers.
