Job summary

Singtel Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Group Sustainability (Social Impact) to shape and drive the Group's social impact agenda. You will build strategic partnerships and programmes leveraging Singtel's AI and regional reach to create measurable value for communities and stakeholders.

You'll lead cross-functional teams, manage governance and outcomes, and work with external partners such as government agencies, community organisations and internal business units to scale initiatives aligned

Qualifications

  • Degree in Sustainability, Social Sciences, Public Policy or related field.
  • 8-12 years of sustainability or social impact experience with multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Strong programme management, budgeting and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead social impact strategy and programmes across Singtel Group.
  • Manage governance, KPIs, budgets, risk and scaling decisions for initiatives.
  • Collaborate with government, community partners and internal units to expand AI-enabled social outcomes.

As Senior Manager, Group Sustainability, you will shape and drive Singtel Group's social impact agenda, building strategic partnerships and programmes that harness our technology, AI capabilities and regional reach to create meaningful and measurable impact. You will also contribute to broader Group Sustainability and ESG priorities.

How You will Make An Impact:

Social Impact Strategy & Programme Management

  • Lead Singtel Group AI Future Makers, working across operating companies (OpCos) on challenge statements, partner and start-ups engagement, pilot and scale successful initiatives across the Group and its associates.
  • Build strategic partnerships with government agencies, social service agencies, community organisations and internal business units to develop and scale programmes aligned with Singtel Group's social impact strategy and "AI for All".
  • Drive programme governance and impact, including setting outcomes, KPIs and budgets, tracking performance, advising senior management on priorities, investments, risks and scaling decisions, and partnering with Communications and Marketing to amplify impact.
  • Shape Singtel's digital citizenship strategy and develop scalable initiatives that promote responsible, safe and healthy use of digital and AI technologies, addressing emerging AI and online risks.
  • Build and manage partnerships with IMDA, TOUCH, IHLs and community organisations to advance AI and digital literacy, cyber wellness, online safety and scam awareness, particularly for vulnerable communities.

Stakeholder Engagement, Impact Measurement & Communications

  • Establish a consistent approach to measuring and reporting the outcomes and impact of major social programmes, using insights to inform programme design, resource allocation and management decisions.
  • Drive the Group-wide approach to employee and skills-based volunteering, developing frameworks, tools and platforms that enable consistent planning, tracking and reporting across the Group and OpCos.

Broader Sustainability

  • Lead or co-lead selected cross-functional ESG initiatives, translating emerging sustainability developments into strategic recommendations and practical actions for the Group.
  • Support the annual Singtel Group Sustainability Report and related disclosures, including content development, data coordination, assurance and stakeholder engagement.

Skills for Success:

  • Degree in Sustainability, Business, Social Sciences, Communications, Public Policy or a related discipline.
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in sustainability, social impact, strategic partnerships, public policy or programme management, with demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Strong programme management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, budgets, timelines and stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of social impact programme design, impact measurement and areas such as digital inclusionand responsible AI.
  • Strong communication, writing, research and analytical skills, with sound judgement and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience in sustainability reporting, ESG frameworks such as GRI and ISSB, technology/AI or regional programmes would be an advantage.
