Job summary

Singtel is building an AI-first telco with broad social impact initiatives. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Group Sustainability to shape partnerships, design programmes and drive measurable social outcomes across the Group.

The role focuses on AI-enabled initiatives, digital inclusion, stakeholder engagement, and governance across OpCos, with a mandate to report on ESG priorities and sustainability disclosures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Singtel Group AI Future Makers and partner with OpCos on scalable social impact initiatives.
  • Develop partnerships with government agencies, social service agencies and community organisations.
  • Govern programme outcomes, KPIs, budgets and risk management with governance across the group.
  • Measure impact and report on social programmes, integrating insights into strategy and investments.
  • Drive employee volunteering and skills-based volunteering frameworks across the Group.

As Senior Manager, Group Sustainability, you will shape and drive Singtel Group’s social impact agenda, building strategic partnerships and programmes that harness our technology, AI capabilities and regional reach to create meaningful and measurable impact. You will also contribute to broader Group Sustainability and ESG priorities.

How You will Make An Impact:
Social Impact Strategy & Programme Management
  • Lead Singtel Group AI Future Makers, working across operating companies (OpCos) on challenge statements, partner and start-ups engagement, pilot and scale successful initiatives across the Group and its associates.
  • Build strategic partnerships with government agencies, social service agencies, community organisations and internal business units to develop and scale programmes aligned with Singtel Group’s social impact strategy and “AI for All”.
  • Drive programme governance and impact, including setting outcomes, KPIs and budgets, tracking performance, advising senior management on priorities, investments, risks and scaling decisions, and partnering with Communications and Marketing to amplify impact.
Digital Citizenship & Inclusion
  • Shape Singtel’s digital citizenship strategy and develop scalable initiatives that promote responsible, safe and healthy use of digital and AI technologies, addressing emerging AI and online risks.
  • Build and manage partnerships with IMDA, TOUCH, IHLs and community organisations to advance AI and digital literacy, cyber wellness, online safety and scam awareness, particularly for vulnerable communities.
Stakeholder Engagement, Impact Measurement & Communications
  • Establish a consistent approach to measuring and reporting the outcomes and impact of major social programmes, using insights to inform programme design, resource allocation and management decisions.
  • Drive the Group-wide approach to employee and skills-based volunteering, developing frameworks, tools and platforms that enable consistent planning, tracking and reporting across the Group and OpCos.
Broader Sustainability
  • Lead or co-lead selected cross-functional ESG initiatives, translating emerging sustainability developments into strategic recommendations and practical actions for the Group.
  • Support the annual Singtel Group Sustainability Report and related disclosures, including content development, data coordination, assurance and stakeholder engagement.
Skills for Success:
  • Degree in Sustainability, Business, Social Sciences, Communications, Public Policy or a related discipline.
  • 8–12 years of relevant experience in sustainability, social impact, strategic partnerships, public policy or programme management, with demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Strong programme management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, budgets, timelines and stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, partnership-building skills.
  • Good understanding of social impact programme design, impact measurement and areas such as digital inclusion and responsible AI.
  • Strong communication, writing, research and analytical skills, with sound judgement and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience in sustainability reporting, ESG frameworks such as GRI and ISSB, technology/AI or regional programmes would be an advantage.
