Responsibilities:

  1. Oversees group consolidation and financial/management reporting functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Performs analysis on various consolidated financial drivers for management reporting purposes.
  3. Oversees Group tax compliance, tax planning, and tax accounting.
  4. Assesses the impact of new/changes in accounting standards on the Group.
  5. Responsible for establishing, reviewing, and updating group accounting policies and procedures in line with changes in business requirements and relevant financial reporting standards.
  6. Drafts technical accounting papers as and when required.
  7. Provides guidance and support to oversee team to ensure timely submission of monthly accounts.
  8. Ensures that all entities including overseas subsidiaries' accounting policies comply with the Group policies.
  9. Coordinates with internal stakeholders and external auditors on reporting requirements.
  10. Supports the team for the migration and implementation of new system-related projects.
  11. Undertakes any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in accountancy and/or other professional qualification equivalent.
  2. 15-20 years of relevant working experience, preferably with audit experience. Previous experience in listed companies and/or Big4 firms is advantageous.
  3. Strong technical knowledge in SFRS(I), SGX Listing Manual, and Companies Act is preferred.
  4. Excellent team player with strong communication, people management, and organizational skills.
  5. Self-driven and able to deliver results under tight deadlines.
  6. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to knowledge sharing and improvement.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
  8. Familiarity with SAP and/or Oracle accounting software is preferred.
