Job summary

IMDA in Singapore seeks a Senior Manager to lead Research, Innovation and Enterprise efforts in Future Communications & Frontier Technologies, coordinating cross-domain research and partnerships.

You will work with stakeholders to shape funding initiatives, translate research into business opportunities, and monitor global tech shifts to guide policy and value creation. This role requires strategic thinking and strong collaboration with local and international partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/Telecommunications or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant fields.
• Familiarity with the RIE ecosystem.
• Strategic thinker with collaborative attitude and strong teamwork.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management with local and international partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop research to business strategies in Future Communications & Frontier Technologies.
• Prepare RIE funding initiatives and monitor funded programmes.
• Create collaborations with IHLs and RIs in relevant tech areas.
• Lead translation of research findings into viable business opportunities.
• Support international collaborations.
• Monitor global tech shifts to inform policy and value capture.
