Job description

Responsibilities and Duties

• Motivation, patience, and a willingness to experiment are important. The Sr. Flavorist/Manager must have the ability to create/modify flavors.

• Provide timely responses to ongoing testing inquiries and processes.

• Certified Flavorist with the ability to create aspiring flavors or relevant experience.

• Manage and keep track of all test results and comments, ensuring accurate recording.

• Maintain proper data management in the database of creations, ingredients, and supplies.

• Assist in resolving related issues where necessary.

• Provide knowledge support for product pricing and costing.

• Attend to all matters related to lab processes, testing procedures, and results.

• Coach, mentor, and guide junior and senior flavorists, ensuring adherence to standards and protocols.

• Manage cross-functional teams and functions.

• Share and promote best practices in flavor sales across regions.

• Coordinate with global counterparts for core and global customers.

• Collaborate with Marketing to develop go-to-market strategies, sales support materials, and tools to engage customers.

• Develop regional and global flavor proposals.

• Provide leadership across functions (R&D, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain) to optimize opportunities and improve execution.

• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Senior Management.

Qualifications & Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills, Knowledge, etc.)

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in science, food engineering, food science, chemistry, or biology, with at least 8 years of relevant experience as a hands-on Flavorist/Manager, preferably in the tobacco industry.
