Position Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Senior Manager, Finance to lead our financial operations while driving process improvements and redesign initiatives across the Group. This role is pivotal in shaping the financial infrastructure, enhancing operational efficiency, and aligning financial processes with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and experience in transforming finance processes using best practices and digital tools.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
Manage statutory audits, tax submissions, and financial year-end processes.
Provide strategic financial analysis to support executive decision-making.
Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders.
Process Redesign & Transformation
Review, streamline, and redesign core finance and related business processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control.
Lead cross-functional projects focused on process improvement, automation, and system enhancements.
Identify opportunities to digitise manual processes and implement appropriate solutions (e.g., ERP upgrades, automation tools).
Collaborate with other business units to align finance processes with overall organisational needs.
Establish KPIs and monitor the effectiveness of new processes post-implementation.
Leadership & Business Partnering
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Partner closely with senior management to provide financial insights that drive business growth.
Act as a change agent to promote a process-oriented and data-driven mindset across the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) are highly desirable.
Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3–4 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience leading process improvement or transformation initiatives in a mid-to-large-sized organisation.
Strong knowledge of financial systems, controls, and reporting frameworks.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial automation tools.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
Lean Six Sigma or process improvement certifications.
Experience in change management and project management methodologies.
Familiarity with digital finance transformation trends and technologies.
