A leading medical group in Singapore seeks an experienced insurance accounting manager. This role entails overseeing insurance accounting functions and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, alongside leading a finance team. Candidates should possess a CA/ACCA qualification and relevant experience in insurance or financial services.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee full spectrum of insurance accounting functions, including:
Statutory reporting (e.g. MAS)
Management reporting and FP&A
Account Receivable – including Billing and collections
Account Payable – including payment to suppliers and claim reimbursement
Tax filing
Ensure timely reconciliation of inter-company, premium, and claims-related bank balances
Ensure full compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements(e.g. MAS, IFRS 17)
Liaise with actuaries, auditors, reinsurers, underwriters, and internal stakeholders
Support ad-hoc financial analysis, system enhancements, and reporting initiatives
Job Requirements
Qualified CA and/or ACCAwith 8–10 years' experience, preferably in insurance or financial services
Knowledge of insurance accounting standards(e.g. SFRS(I) 17) is an advantage
Proven leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities
Capable of leading a finance team in a regulated, fast-paced insurance environment
