Job summary

foodpanda Singapore is seeking a Finance BI Manager to join the regional team, overseeing APAC and Europe markets. You will lead reporting, automation, and analysis initiatives, driving data-driven decision-making across continents.

The role requires strong financial analytics background, Tableau proficiency, and the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations for leadership. A dynamic, global environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics or related field.
• Working knowledge of Financial Statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow) is a plus.
• Professional certifications (CPA, CFA, or CIMA) are a significant plus.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in finance analytics; senior manager level for more experience.
• Strong experience in BI reporting software such as Tableau, with the ability to build automated financial models, dashboards, and budget trackers.
• Advanced Excel, SQL knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and opportunities.
• Recommend solutions across the range of data visualization products and processes.
• Manage end-to-end data projects; identify issues, gather information, analyze data, interpret patterns, and create automated reports.
• Review day-to-day operation processes and make actionable recommendations based on analysis.
• Analyze regional P&L performance, identify drivers of revenue and cost variances across APAC and Europe.
• Interpret financial trends to provide commentary on performance against budget and historical benchmarks.
• Lead ad-hoc strategic deep-dives, translating data into actionable recommendations for regional leadership.
• Continually automate/streamline processes to improve efficiency in the region.

We are looking for a highly analytical Finance BI talent to join our Regional team based in the Singapore, overseeing the business in our APAC and Europe markets.

The Finance BI Manager will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple continents to support the team in reporting, analysis, automation, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a track record as a significant individual contributor as well as a strong team player. The individual will have exceptional attention to detail, but will also be a strategic thinker, excited by the opportunity to test ideas and lead projects that impact the company.

• Analyze regional P&L performance, identifying key drivers of revenue and cost variances across APAC and Europe.

What you need to be successful

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics or experience in a quantitative field where you gained experience in Business Intelligence, Controlling, or FP&A
• Conceptual knowledge of Financial Statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash flow); working knowledge is a plus
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, or CIMA) are a significant plus.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in finance analytics; candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Manager
• Strong experience in BI reporting software such as Tableau, with the ability to build automated financial models, cash flow dashboards, and budget trackers
• Quantitative mindset & proven analytic capabilities. Should be able to collect, organize, analyze significant amounts of information accurately
• Advanced Excel, SQL knowledge and experience
• High attention to detail and meticulous approach to data integrity
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of data science and statistical modeling skills is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
