Keppel Capital International Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated Fund Controller to join the finance team, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting across its funds and coordinating with auditors and service providers.

The role requires ACCA qualification or a degree in accountancy, 10–12 years of relevant experience, and at least 5 years in fund accounting. You will work across Singapore, Japan, Korea, Australia and Malaysia, ensuring strong controls and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • ACCA qualification or Degree in Accountancy is required.
  • 10–12 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a fund controller or senior fund accounting role.
  • Experience in private equity, real estate, or data centres is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards International (SFRS(I)) and fund structures/operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and review of periodic financial and management reports for funds under management, including unaudited financial statements, audit reports, budgets/forecasts, actual vs. budget, and investor reports.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and performance evaluation.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and audit requirements across multiple jurisdictions (Singapore, Japan, Korea, Australia, Malaysia).
  • Oversee monitoring of financing covenants and audit processes across jurisdictions.
  • Liaise with internal/external stakeholders and manage service providers to ensure high-quality reporting and operational support.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets and optimise cash management.
  • Support investment and divestment activities, including review of transaction documents and coordination with auditors/partners.

JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a highly motivated, independent and detail-oriented Fund Controller to join our finance team. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, management reporting, compliance, and operational excellence across our managed funds. Key Responsibilities
Financial Oversight & Management Reporting
  • Lead the preparation and review of periodic financial and management reports for funds under management including but not limited to unaudited financial statements, audit reports, budgets and forecast, actual versus budget, INREV SDDS, quarterly investor reports and capital account statements.
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and performance evaluation.
Regulatory Compliance & Audit Management
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory, tax, and audit requirements for entities across multiple jurisdictions including but not limited to Singapore, Japan, Korea, Australia and Malaysia.
  • Oversee the monitoring of financing covenants and manage audit processes across multiple jurisdictions.
Stakeholder & Service Provider Management
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to management, investors, auditors, tax advisors, and fund administrators.
  • Manage service providers to ensure high-quality financial reporting and operational support.

Policy Development & Internal Controls Design, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard fund assets, ensure data integrity, and optimise cash management.

Investment & Transaction Support Support investment and divestment activities, including review of transaction documents, execution coordination, and lead complex accounting treatment discussions with auditors and various stakeholders.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

ACCA qualification or a Degree in Accountancy. Minimum 10–12 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a fund controller or senior fund accounting role. Experience in private equity, real estate, or data centres is preferred. Strong technical knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards International (SFRS (I)) and fund structures and operations. Proficient in financial analysis with a high level of accuracy and attention to details. Self-motivated, organised, and capable of working independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work across functions and levels.
