The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for Revenue Recognition and Credit Control for the Asia region.

This position reports to the Senior Finance Director / Regional CFO, is part of the Regional Finance Team based in Singapore, and is an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Own, maintain, and manage the revenue recognition policy for the region in line with group policies and US GAAP.
• Review revenue-related documents (such as tender documents, sales contracts, purchase orders, LC documents) to determine revenue recognition criteria and ensure they are met for accurate and timely recording.
• Support the commercial team to structure deals that enable fulfillment of company objectives.
• Develop, implement, and enforce credit management policies/procedures to minimize credit risk and optimize cash flow.
• Manage, with support staff, the letter of credit process for the region.
• Work on process and system improvements to enhance efficiency in the Quote-to-Cash process.
• Provide leadership to the AR/RR team both formally and informally.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent, and/or professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in finance and accounting, focusing on revenue recognition & credit management.
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, especially revenue recognition.
• Familiarity with letter of credit processes and incoterms.
• At least 3 years of experience with ERP and CRM software.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.).

Preferred additional experience includes:

• Experience in internal/external audit within Big 4 firms.
• Experience in capital equipment or life-science equipment environments.
• Mandarin business communication skills (Simplified and Traditional) to support contract review from Hong Kong and Taiwan.
