Job description

[What the role is]

You will lead a team in supporting the accounting, operations and controls of the expenditure and fixed asset management functions.

[What you will be working on]

You will ensure compliance with financial and accounting policies and procedures, conduct regular policy reviews to ensure they remain relevant and effective, and value-add by reviewing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and governance in managing expenditures. You will also be responsible for the accounting and management of fixed assets, to ensure timely and accurate records of capital expenditures, fixed assets and depreciation.

We require an energetic, results-oriented leader and team player with the following pre-requisites:

Requirements

• Trained in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification, preferably a Certified Public Accountant
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional or audit experience preferred
• Possess strong thinking and analysis skills, self-motivated and resourceful
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Experience in WorkDay is advantageous

Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
