The Health Promotion Board in Singapore is seeking a data scientist to join the Chief Data Officer’s Office. You will collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to co-develop and deploy GenAI and traditional ML models across HPB and partner agencies, using real-world health data to drive analytics and AI use cases.
You will help deliver AI-enabled tools for productivity and personalized health interventions, translating data insights into tangible health outcomes for the population.

You will be a part of HPB’s Chief Data Officer’s Office (CDOO), which plays a central role in driving data-informed decision-making across the organisation. CDOO oversees HPB’s data strategy, governance, engineering and analytics / AI capabilities to ensure data is used responsibly, effectively and at scale.
What you will be working on:
As a key member of Data Science & Analytics (DSA) department within CDOO, you’ll get the opportunity to work with data scientists and business analysts across HPB and WOG agencies (e.g. GovTech), and external partners (e.g. public healthcare and data science institutions, academics and technology players) to co-develop and deploy GenAI (e.g. digital twins) and classical machine learning models. You will work with big data from diverse real world data sources (e.g. intra-minute heart rate data from wearable sensors, meal logging and sports participation data from digital apps such as Healthy 365) and health sector data such as Healthier SG Admin Repository to facilitate data feature engineering and AI use cases. You will strengthen HPB’s analytics rigour and expand data science applications to deliver:

An ideal candidate will be a dynamic and self-motivated individual with at least 1 - 3 years of working experience in data science. The candidate should possess the following qualifications and skillsets:
