Fullerton Health is strengthening its Group Data Protection framework across the Asia-Pacific region. The role partners with the Group DPO to drive governance, policy development and training to safeguard personal data for patients and clients.

You will manage DPIAs, data subject requests, incident reviews and vendor due diligence while communicating across departments and jurisdictions. English proficiency and regulatory know-how are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Recognised professional certifications (CIPM, CIPP/A, CIPP/E) are preferred.
• Hands-on data protection experience across multiple markets/jurisdictions is essential.
• Healthcare or highly regulated environments are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Group DPO in driving data protection framework implementation across Fullerton Health markets.
• Develop, maintain and update group-wide data protection policies and guidelines.
• Maintain records of data processing activities and ensure up-to-date documentation.
• Conduct reviews such as DPIAs to ensure compliance with regulations and adapt to AI tools.
• Create training materials and awareness campaigns for data protection.
• Coordinate responses to data subject requests.
• Prepare materials and participate in governance meetings with stakeholders.
• Track project timelines, dependencies, issues and report status.
• Review data incidents, perform root cause analysis and manage reporting.
• Contribute to vendor risk assessments and client due diligence for data protection posture.
• Serve as first point of contact for day-to-day internal data protection queries.

The Group Data Protection function develops the strategic data protection framework, policies and tools to safeguard personal data for Fullerton Health businesses across the regional Fullerton Health Group. We partner closely with stakeholders to achieve the organisation’s strategic objectives, enabling safe business growth and digital innovation. This is done by implementing a robust data protection framework that complies with applicable laws and regulations, operationalising data handling practices across the Group, and contributing to a stronger governance culture to bring about greater value to the Group, and our clients and patients.

We are looking for a driven and intellectually curious individual to support and strengthen the Group’s data protection framework. This role is suited to someone who combines strong data protection fundamentals with a genuine interest in data, technology and artificial intelligence, and who wants to continue developing his or her expertise as these areas evolve.

This position reports to the Group Data Protection Officer.

What You’ll Do:

Data Protection Framework and Governance

• Assist the Group DPO in driving and tracking data protection framework implementation across the Fullerton Health markets
• Assist in developing, maintaining and updating group-wide data protection policies, templates and guidelines
• Maintain and track records of data processing activities and proactively collaborate with business teams in ensuring up to date documentation
• Conduct reviews (such as data protection impact assessments) to ensure data protection compliance with regulations and organisational protocols, and ensure emerging technologies and AI tools align with these standards
• Develop materials and deliver relevant trainings and awareness campaigns
• Support the coordination and response to data subject requests

Data Protection Monitoring and Operations

• Prepare materials, coordinate and participate in data governance meetings and discussions with stakeholders, including preparing minutes of meetings and tracking of action items
• Drive/participate in data protection initiatives and projects. Manage project scoping, track timelines, dependencies, issues, and provide status updates to stakeholders
• Review data incidents, including root cause and impact analysis, remediation, and manage incident tracking and reporting
• Participate in vendor risk assessments and client due diligence processes on data protection posture
• Act as first point of contact for day-to-day internal stakeholder queries on data protection management, protocols and business use cases

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field paired with recognised professional certification (e.g. CIPM, CIPP/A, CIPP/E).
• At least 8 years of working experience, of which at least 5 years of hands‑on data protection knowledge, handling more than one market/jurisdiction. Experience within the healthcare industry or any highly regulated environment is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of regulatory data protection obligations and the data lifecycle. Conceptual knowledge of IT/data security and emerging AI guidelines in data protection.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able collaborate effectively with personnel across departments, locations and seniority levels.
• Hands‑on and solutions‑oriented, and prepared to work in a lean team supporting a multi‑business stream organisation.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
