Job summary

A cybersecurity firm in Singapore is seeking a leader for their Cybersecurity/IT security department. The ideal candidate will have 13 to 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, strong leadership skills, and a background in cybersecurity frameworks. Responsibilities include managing a team of cybersecurity professionals and developing customized solutions for clients. Certifications in CISSP, PMP preferred.

This position will serve as the lead for the Cybersecurity / IT security department composed of IT professionals and experts.

Position Responsibilities:

• Will lead and manage a team of Cybersecurity / IT security professionals from Team Lead to Engineer level.
• Take on leadership responsibility from coaching, guiding, technical evaluation, management review and board presentation.
• Lead the development and implementation of customized solutions for various clients both private and public sector.
• Lead the team in cybersecurity related activities, guide them with the technical methods and perform coaching and assistance.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Cybersecurity related courses, Computer Engineering or equivalent field.
• Preferably with 13 to 15 years’ working experience in Cybersecurity in a technical hand-on activities including 5 to 6 years in a leadership capacity.
• Strong leadership skills in managing the department and deal with stakeholders.
• Strong background in Cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, CSA Code of Practice.
• Knowledge of IT and IoT environment, various networking and CS tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems etc.
• Certifications in CISSP, PMP are a strong preference.
