Overview

The Senior Manager - Corporate Planning facilitates the development and implementation of the long-term, mid-term and annual strategic business plan for the Omron Healthcare APAC region (OHSG) with the aim to meet or exceed targeted revenue and profitability growth.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Managing Director to shape and implement annual, mid-term and long-term strategic plans – based on deep market insights - in line with Omron Healthcare Headquarters business strategy and goals, to ensure realization of the projected revenue growth and profitability.
  • Monitor implementation of key actions and performance to achieve the OHSG business objectives.
  • Contribute to and or manage cross regional key projects that derive from the business and support the identification and decision-making processes regarding strategic alliances, partnerships and acquisitions.
  • Consolidate and analyze OHSG business plans and monitor and analyze industry trends and market changes.
  • Prepare, facilitate and participate (in) the monthly business reviews with OHSG management.
  • Prepare, facilitate and participate (in) strategic events for OHS regions, such as annual budget, quarterly fore-cast meetings and mid-term strategy development sessions.
  • Ensure corporate management rules are implemented and followed throughout the designated regions.
Qualifications

  • Demonstrable strategic thinking abilities
  • Firm knowledge of accounting and finance (consolidation and analysis of PL/BS/CF).
  • Understanding market research and data analysis
  • Broad knowledge of business operations and processes

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of corporate governance through management rules
  • Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Japanese language. Able to communicate (speak & write) with Japanese colleagues at Headquarters.
