Job description

Faststream Recruitment has partnered with a global organization looking to grow their corporate development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prioritise strategic opportunities through in-depth sector analysis, competitive benchmarking, and monitoring of market signals to sustain a strong deal pipeline.
  • Manage the end-to-end deal process—from sourcing through to term sheet negotiation—ensuring disciplined execution aligned with defined investment theses.
  • Oversee post-merger integration governance by creating detailed integration roadmaps and continuously enhancing playbooks to maximise value capture.
  • Develop robust investment cases, including business plans underpinned by financial modelling and valuation analysis.
  • Work closely with corporate finance teams to build and validate valuation models, test key assumptions, and ensure alignment with P&L and long-term growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and functional heads to execute strategic initiatives that support the overarching growth agenda.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external advisors—such as investment banks, legal firms, and consultants—managing the creation of teasers, CIMs, investment memos, and data rooms.
  • Lead investor relations through the preparation and delivery of quarterly performance updates.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics
  • At least 8 years in corporate development, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity.
  • Demonstrated success in executing M&A transactions and managing post-merger integration processes.
  • Skilled in financial modeling and valuation
  • Extensive experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Highly adaptable and resilient, with a proven ability to excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
