Job description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, Corporate Communications and Public Relations to lead the planning, development, and execution of our corporate messaging, media relations, and public image initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a compelling storyteller, skilled media handler, and trusted advisor to senior leadership—playing a pivotal role in shaping how our brand is perceived both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a corporate communication strategy aligned with the Association's goals and values.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels and materials.
  • Manage media relations strategy and serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries.
  • Monitor and respond to media coverage, ensuring brand reputation is protected and promoted.
  • Serve as the communications lead in crisis scenarios; develop and execute crisis communication plans.
  • Oversee development of high-impact content including press kits, executive bios, blog posts, newsletters, and reports.
  • Coordinate communications with key stakeholders including partners, government agencies, and community organizations.
Pre-requisites:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related fields.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in corporate communications and PR, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of digital and social media communications is a plus.
