Job Description:

A seasoned corporate communications professional who combines strategic thinking with strong writing and relationship-building skills. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is media-savvy, and is passionate about creating impactful narratives that resonate with families, partners, and staff across Asia

Job Responsibilities:

· Develop and write press releases, media statements, speeches, and op-eds that reflect our brand voice and values.

· Support the Marketing Director with high-level messaging, including for CEO speeches, corporate decks, and crisis communication.

· Build and sustain positive relationships with media outlets, especially in the parenting, education, and lifestyle sectors.

· Work collaboratively with internal teams such as HR, marketing, and operations to align communication efforts.

· Manage the corporate communications calendar, ensuring messaging is timely, consistent, and aligned with organisational priorities.

· Provide guidance to regional offices on communication best practices and local adaptation of messaging.

· Serve as a point of contact for crisis communications — crafting holding statements, advising internal stakeholders, and managing reputational risks.

Requirements:

· At least 8 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, preferably with both in-house and media/newsroom experience.

· Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.

· Demonstrated success in media relations, including pitching and securing coverage.

· Strong strategic thinking with the ability to implement practical solutions.

· Good organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple deadlines reliably.

Desirable Skills

· Experience in the education or service sectors.

· Exposure to regional communications across Southeast Asia.

· Ability to support social media or digital content initiatives.
