Job description
    As a Senior Manager, Compliance at AB InBev India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's adherence to relevant laws and regulations in India. You will report directly to the Associate Director, Compliance and be based in Bangalore. Your responsibilities will include staying updated on changes in laws and regulations, implementing data protection and privacy programs, as well as antitrust and competition programs. You will be responsible for investigating diverse allegations, conducting third party compliance reviews, and providing data-driven insights through the use of data analysis tools. Additionally, you will be involved in developing and refreshing policies and training, working cross-functionally with teams outside of Legal & Corporate Affairs, and taking on special projects as required.The ideal candidate for this role will possess a Bachelor's degree in law, business, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance or ethics role and at least 6 years of PQE. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be required to effectively communicate legal and regulatory issues to non-legal stakeholders. Analytical and problem-solving skills are also key, enabling you to identify and mitigate potential risks. Fluency in English is required, while knowledge of additional languages would be a plus. A professional certification in compliance, ethics, or a related field is desirable, along with a strong commitment to ethics and integrity.Additional qualifications that would be beneficial for this role include being a qualified lawyer with experience in Compliance/Investigations at a Law Firm, Big4, or a multinational company.
