Job description

Responsibilities

• Participate in user engagement workshops to provide expert input during the hospital design process, aiming to improve patient flow and experience.

• Lead planning discussions for Tengah Hospital, covering clinical services, infrastructure, and resource needs.

• Work closely with consultants, medical planners, and stakeholders to design service workflows that align with the hospital’s strategic goals.

• Facilitate workshops and coordinate meetings to gather project requirements, develop planning methodologies, and test new models both virtually and through prototypes.

• Prepare end-user briefs, operational requirements, and guidelines; conduct workshops to validate and refine these processes.

• Develop business cases to secure approvals and funding for infrastructure expansion.

• Track and monitor progress across multiple work streams, providing timely updates and escalating issues when necessary.

• Prepare regular progress reports for the Tengah Hospital Committee.

• Organize and lead activities related to the development of Tengah General and Community Hospital.Oversee the implementation of operational models, ensuring alignment with service and care models, budget, and guidelines.

• Handle administrative support such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and maintaining filing systems (manual and electronic).

• Manage procurement and payment requests as required.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field.

• At least 7 years’ experience in healthcare operations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Proven leadership abilities, capable of motivating and guiding teams toward operational goals.
  Self-driven, resourceful, analytical, and a strong problem-solver.
