A leading real estate firm is seeking a Senior Manager (Business Development) in Singapore. This role involves strategizing business growth, achieving sales targets, and managing client relationships, with a focus on Project Development Services. The role demands focus on achieving high-quality sales outcomes and growing profits within the business units across Singapore, with a primary focus on Project Development Services product offerings. As a Senior Manager (Business Development) for PDS Sales & Solutions Development, the candidate will also look at cross-selling other product offerings of the firm. You will be expected to go out to the market to prospect and broaden the client base, lead contract negotiations that maximize profitability, mitigate risks, and ensure all processes align with governance and standards.
This role involves approximately 30% of time driving project (sales) targets across Singapore, focusing on driving and converting mandates/agreements regionally and globally on existing accounts. The remaining 70% will focus on achieving sales targets for PDS product offerings by working closely with the Projects, Sales, and Sales Enablement teams, as well as Sector Leads, Project Directors, and the Country GM, to drive high win rates and new business conversions.
You will need to identify and follow up on projects, leads, and opportunities, pursue and win new assignments to achieve growth and revenue targets. Collaborating with the pursuit and delivery teams, you will craft service solutions, prepare proposals, presentations, and RFP responses, and lead client pitches. You will also coordinate with regional marketing and global Sales Enablement teams on delivery, marketing materials, and campaigns to establish a credible product offering in Singapore.
Building client relationships
You will lead project and sales discussions, offering integrated solutions across JLL’s suite of products, with a focus on Capital and Project offerings initially. Managing relationships with country leaders, brokerage teams, account management, and broader PDS teams, you will strengthen existing client relationships and develop new prospects.
Expertise in subject matter
Representing JLL as a subject matter expert in Project Development Services, you will identify industry opportunities to demonstrate expertise and position JLL as a leader. Your knowledge will support proposal development, messaging, and sales presentations. As part of the regional sales team, you will foster best practices in sales management and promote continuous improvement in sales processes.
