Job summary

A leading company in the construction industry is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee complex building projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of relevant experience and a strong track record of delivering projects successfully. You will be responsible for project progress, stakeholder collaboration, and problem resolution, working closely with a variety of teams and authorities to ensure success.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver projects within established budgets and timelines

  • Ensure that project progress is within schedule, quality, budget and safety standards

  • Identify and resolve site technical problems

  • Prepare project’s periodic progress report for updating Senior Management, including pre-empting / highlighting potential issues and suggesting solutions

  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders such as consultants/contractors/vendors/suppliers to achieve project deliverables

  • Liaise with relevant authorities in managing submissions and obtaining the clearances necessary for project to progress

  • Review the procurement of various service contracts

  • Any other duties assigned

Requirements:

  • Good degree in Architecture, C&S, M&E or Project Management with at least 10 years of relevant experience in the Singapore building industry

  • Good track record of successfully delivering complex and challenging projects

  • Knowledgeable in project management processes for all stages of project lifecycle

  • Experience in using project management software

  • Resourceful and agile in driving projects to fruition

  • Self-driven, ability to multi-task and comfortable with tight deadlines

  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Ability to converse in Mandarin would be an advantage in view of the Company’s global presence

  • Suitably qualified candidates will be considered for Assistant Vice President role
