What the role is:
As a member of the Strategy team, you will be primarily responsible for developing Whole-of-Nation strategies to (i) protect and defend critical infrastructure against cyber threats, and (ii) raise the baseline level of cyber security nationally. You will also be responsible for reviewing and updating legislation (i.e. the Cybersecurity Act) to ensure that it remains fit for purpose.Given the cross-cutting nature of cybersecurity and its intersections with geopolitical developments, concentration and dependency risks, you may be required to work with other agencies to develop policies on supply chain and dependency risks.As CSA has both policy, operational and technical functions, you will be required to work closely with the operational and technical stakeholders to ensure that strategies and policies are implemented end-to-end.As a Centre-of-Government agency, you will be required to work with various agencies across Government, and private sector stakeholders, to carry out your responsibilities.
What you will be working on:
Responsibilities• Conceptualise and develop Whole-of-Nation strategies pertaining to cybersecurity• Monitor and drive the implementation of these cybersecurity strategies• Review and drive legislative amendments• Work with relevant government agencies to develop policies to manage supply chain and dependency risks• Engage internal and external stakeholders to coordinate and facilitate strategic planning and prioritisation• Conduct research on strategic trends in cybersecurity
What we are looking for:
Requirements• A tertiary qualification.• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
