Job Description:

What You'll Do

Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating operations by leading a team of account executives to ensure smooth onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing payment network operations for selected network partners in the Asia Pacific region. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to devise strategies to motivate Discover network partners to comply with Discover’s network policy and adopt the latest products offered by Discover network. Build working relationships with key operations and technology personnel at key network partners.

How You'll Do It

  • Manage a team including hiring, performance, and development decisions.
  • Direct and coordinate operational activities to provide premier partner support and manage escalations.
  • Plan and prepare team schedules and assign projects, tasks, and responsibilities.
  • Monitor team performance to ensure goals and deadlines are met, and company policies and initiatives are supported.
  • Ensure team adherence to documented procedures and controls, raising risks and issues for mitigation and resolution.
  • Develop procedures, assess risks, and deploy controls to mitigate financial and regulatory risks for new operational activities.
  • Recommend, negotiate, and track incentive plans for network partners to adopt Discover’s products and capabilities.

Qualifications You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management, Finance, International Business, Information Technology, Communications, Marketing, or related fields.
  • 6+ years in Payments, Technology, Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, or related fields.
  • Alternatively, 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
