Job description

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections within buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.

• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections checklist and service reports.

• Recommend improvements work to equipment for enhancing system performance and efficiency.

• Keep Executive and Building Manager informed of any identified building issues.

• Perform minor repairs on faulty building services equipment to reinstate affected equipment operation in the shortest possible time.

• Supervise major repair works by contractors on faulty building services equipment to ensure repairs are done to reinstate affected equipment operation in the shortest possible time.

• Perform preventive maintenance works on building services equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

• Repair and upkeep minor faults of the building’s architectural and structural finishes (painting touch-ups, tiles repairs, water proofing repairs, etc).

• Work together with team members during emergency to reinstate building services in the shortest possible time.

• Initiate and implement cost efficient repair techniques & utilities saving thru daily recording to update meter reading.

• Maintain Department’s workings tools, materials and machines for serviceability and accountability.

• Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies.

• Provide technical assistance to activities organized by the Advertising & Promotions Department (Event set up, operation of winches, lighting and power supply provision, repair of display structures, etc).

• Assist in the tenancy fit-out works handing-over/taking-over inspection of units.

• Assist the building’s Fire Safety Manager & to be member of Cert Team.

• Play an active role in special projects and enhancement works in the building.

• Support the Manager/Executives to lead a team of technical staff to ensure that the mall’s facilities are operating according to SOP and are maintained to the highest standards..
