Job summary

Job description

Location: Jurong Island (Company transport provided)
Salary:Up to $5,000/month
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee preventive maintenance (PM) programs for plant equipment and facilities
• Plan and coordinate shutdown maintenance (SDM) activities to ensure minimal downtime
• Manage and track equipment modifications and work requests to timely closure
• Support root cause analysis and resolution of equipment-related issues
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
• Oversee safety and health practices within the maintenance and engineering section
• Prepare and manage section budgets and manpower planning
• Develop and train technical staff to maintain high performance and competency levels

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant Engineering discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a chemical plant or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and reliability practices
• Familiar with safety and environmental regulations
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
