Job summary

Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation (VIS) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support module production by following SOPs, performing PMs and ensuring equipment readiness for production. You will troubleshoot basic equipment issues, maintain housekeeping on the floor and sub FAB, assist in installations, train operators, and help with equipment improvements.

A Nitec/ Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics and 2 years in Cleantech/Wet Bench tools are required;

Qualifications

• Nitec/ Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Cleantech and Wet Bench equipment tools.
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Strong logical thinking and analytical skills with ownership and accountability.
• Excellent team player with good interpersonal skills; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOP and carry out CAS per specification.
• Execute scheduled / special preventive maintenance (PM) as per PM schedule and specifications.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment related issues and minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the production floor / sub FAB / Office, and maintenance support areas.
• Ensure and follow good safety practice and safe custody of tools and equipment belonging to the Module.
• Know how to use measurement instruments effectively in data collection; create metrology job files as needed.
• Perform 12-hour rotating shift to support production.
• Assist Engineer in installation and hook up of new or upgrading equipment.
• Assist in implementing equipment improvement projects.
• Able to train operators and trainers on new procedures.
• Execute good maintenance of support tools.
• Assist new Technician/Associate Engineers on OJT as buddy.
• Provide proper passed-down line issue documentation.
