Job summary

HERAEUS MATERIALS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer to lead and participate in machine troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and TPM program development.

You will collaborate with Equipment Development and suppliers to optimize equipment performance, reduce cycle times, and ensure proper training and documentation for operators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics engineering
• Engineering Diploma with 5+ years experience
• Six Sigma Certification is an added advantage
• Experience with Electro-Mechanical Equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Sound knowledge in Electrical and/or Mechanical engineering principles
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven mindset
• Knowledge of statistical tools: SPC, Minitab/JMP
• Up-to-date with technology available in the market

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in machine troubleshooting and resolve abnormal breakdowns
• Support machine PM schedule activity and autonomous maintenance
• Develop and implement TPM program including spare parts inventory and service contracts
• Coordinate training of new equipment with Equipment Development team
• Collaborate with suppliers for process support, equipment development and automation
• Institute efficiency improvements to reduce cycle time and increase throughput
• Prepare training documentation and response procedures for technicians/operators

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Lead/Participate in machine troubleshooting and, inclusive of Abnormal machine breakdown, troubleshooting machine, define machine operating SOP and troubleshooting guide
• Support machine PM schedule activity and autonomous maintenance
• Develop and implementation of TPM program, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, including spare parts inventory & service contracts, to enhance Manufacturing Equipment performance.
• Understanding, Implementation and buy-off of new Manufacturing Equipment develop by Equipment Development team. Ensure Equipment manual and procedure are in place. Coordinate the training of new equipment with the Equipment Development team.
• Collaborate with and manage suppliers to support running of processes, machine development and automation solution for industrialize 4.0.
• Institute operational efficiency and/or machine/process improvements targeted to reduce machine cycle time, increase machine availability, and increase throughput.
• Prepare and deliver training documentation/support and response procedures to elevate the ability of technicians/ operators to address common problems.
• Participate and resolve internal or external issue with Cross Functional team

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical / electrical / mechatronics engineering or any other related fields
• Engineering / Technical Diploma with more than 5 years working experience will be considered.
• 6 Sigma Certification is an added advantage
• Experience in dealing with Electro-Mechanical Equipment is a must
• Knowledge and practical experience in manufacturing environment.
• Sound knowledge in Electrical and/or Mechanical.
• Strong Analytical knowledge.
• Knowledge in statistical tools (SPC, Minitab/JMP).
• Up to date with technology available in the commercial market.
