Senior/ Maintenance Engineer
Our client is a world leading tank storage company. They are looking for a Senior/ Maintenance Engineer to support the maintenance organization.
The role of the Senior/ Maintenance Engineer includes:
- Developing the 3-year maintenance plan in consultation with the Maintenance Manager, Planner Maintenance, and Supervisor Maintenance.
- Identifying assets that require preventive maintenance based on risk assessments, asset criticality, regulatory and statutory requirements, maintenance policies, and history analysis.
- Determining and adjusting preventive maintenance schedules, specifying the type of maintenance based on manufacturer instructions and legislation.
- Establishing the frequency of preventive maintenance work orders.
- Defining default activities, procedures, and tools needed for preventive maintenance, and consulting with the Planner on scope of work.
- Adding cost estimates to the PM schedule.
- Specifying information needed in inspection reports.
- Managing terminal asset lifecycle.
- Identifying Capex needs based on business and sustainability requirements.
- Studying and developing scope of work and cost estimates.
- Performing tenders and executing Capex projects according to standards like MOC.
- Supporting asset data management.
- Conducting inspections to evaluate engineering quality and asset integrity, recommending remedial actions.
- Analyzing inspection reports and proposing recommendations.
- Suggesting improvements for efficiency and productivity.
- Performing maintenance analysis and quality sampling.
- Supporting technicians and determining root causes of failures.
- Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, acting as a primary contact.
- Facilitating audits and supporting corporate initiatives.
- Training maintenance and operations technicians.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with industrial standards (API, ASME)
- Knowledge of API 653 and/or 570 is advantageous
- Deep knowledge of terminal products and equipment
- Project and maintenance experience
- Strong data analysis skills for improvement opportunities
- Good understanding of safety, operations, and product knowledge
- Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations
