Job summary

SAKSOFT PTE LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Mainframe System Administrator to oversee z/OS environments, CICS and MQ, and related mainframe software. The role requires hands-on administration and engineering of host platforms to ensure reliability and performance.

The ideal candidate will bring 6-9 years of experience in mainframe system administration, strong JCL skills, and deep knowledge of z/OS components.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in mainframe system administration.
• Proficient with z/OS operating system and mainframe software (CICS, MQ, RACF, JES2, ISPF).
• Strong knowledge of JCL language.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Host Platform technology strategy, architecture and roadmap.
• Provide Host Platform infrastructure initiatives project management.
• Design, install, configure and deploy host infrastructure and solution.
• Provide Host Platform project and L3 support.
• Plan and manage Host Platform upkeep and change schedule.
• Deploy Host Platform upkeep and change.
• Manage risks and controls, provide audit support, perform RCSA for Host Platform.
