Job summary

NTT Singapore is seeking a seasoned Mainframe System Administrator to manage and support the IBM z/OS environment, including CICS, MQ, storage, and related infrastructure. The role ensures stability, security, and availability of mission-critical systems.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Computer Science or IT, at least 6 years of mainframe admin experience (preferably in banking/financial services), and strong knowledge of z/OS, TSO, JES2, ISPF, RACF, JCL, CICS and MQ.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science, IT or related discipline.
• 6+ years of mainframe system administration experience, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Strong knowledge of z/OS, TSO, JES2, ISPF, RACF, JCL, CICS and MQ.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support IBM z/OS mainframe environments, including CICS and MQ.
• Manage mainframe hardware, storage, tape, and SAN infrastructure.
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade mainframe systems and software.
• Provide L3 support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Plan and execute system maintenance, changes, and platform enhancements.
• Support infrastructure projects, audits, risk assessments, and compliance activities.
• Manage security administration using RACF.
