Job description

• Reporting to Manufacturing Manager and involve actively in hands-on assembly of machines.
• Ensure that production targets are met in terms of production cost, delivery lead-time, quality and reliability of machines with proper packaging before delivery.
• To read mechanical drawing.
• Perform precision lapping and polishing process with machines.
• Comply with all workshop procedures, safety regulations, directives and work instructions.
• Liaison with other personnel on production status, engineering matters, material supply, testing and quality issues for machine rectification and improvement.
• Perform mechanical fitting job, machine assembly and maintenance, which requires knowledge of machine fits and tolerances.
• Final packaging and transportation of machines upon completion.
• Quality Control Inspection.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S and to provide improvement suggestions monthly for continuous improvement.
• Other ad-hoc duty as required, including R&D projects.
