Job summary

Halliburton in Singapore is seeking an experienced machinist to set up, adjust and operate a range of machine tools including CNC lathes, mills, drills and manual equipment. The role requires reading blueprints, performing shop math, programming machines, and conducting inspections.

Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of mechanical machining experience, including tooling and CNC work, with a proven ability to produce prototype components to specification in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical machining, including tooling and CNC work.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform shop mathematics.
• Familiarity with inspection procedures and measurement devices.

Job Duties

Under limited supervision, sets up, adjusts, and operates a variety of machine tools which may include numerical control/computerized numeric control lathes, mills, drills, computerized numerical control/numerical control and/or manual machines and other equipment. May be required to read blueprints, perform varying levels of shop mathematics associated with machining operations, and perform inspection procedures to verify work. May use a wide range of measurement devices, procedures, and machining techniques, and program machines as required. Capable of performing complex machining processes, which may include prototype products. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical machining which includes experience in tooling, CNC machining, machining on different equipment.
