Job description

Job Description:

  1. Support in all production equipment maintenance in his area of responsibility.

  2. Work on assignments that are less complex.

  3. Assist engineers and senior technicians undertake more complex tasks.

  4. Resolve simple problems with minimum guidance.

  5. Undertake medium complex PM tasks with some guidance.

  6. Provide proper handover and shift pass down.

  7. Perform PM and tool calibrations as per planned and properly updated (both document as well as PM/Calibration stickers).

  8. Perform type conversion including equipment fine-tuning and buy-off before releasing it to production.

  9. Perform equipment repair and troubleshooting, maintaining it at minimum downtime.

  10. Assist in maintaining inventory of spare parts.

  11. Collaborate with senior technicians on equipment upgrades.

  12. Compliance with CSR, EHS, QM, ESD, 5S standard and cleanroom protocol.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  1. Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Material / Electrical / Electronic / Chemical Engineering.

  2. Experience working in a high-volume and high product mix manufacturing environment preferably in semi-conductor Assembly manufacturing.

  3. Dynamic, resourceful, self-motivated and have strong communication/interpersonal skills.

  4. Ability to set priority and plan/organize the tasks.

  5. Basic knowledge of SPC and MSA preferred.
