Job summary

A leading company in semiconductor manufacturing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production equipment maintenance. The role involves performing planned maintenance, assisting with repairs, and collaborating on equipment upgrades to minimize downtime. Candidates should hold a relevant engineering diploma and have experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in relevant engineering fields required.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing, preferably semiconductor assembly.
  • Knowledge of SPC and MSA preferred.

Job description

Job Description:

  • Support in all production equipment maintenance in his area of responsibility.
  • Work on assignments that are less complex.
  • Assist engineers and senior technicians undertake more complex tasks.
  • Resolve simple problems with minimum guidance.
  • Undertake medium complex PM tasks with some guidance.
  • Provide proper handover and shift pass down.
  • Perform PM and tool calibrations as per planned and properly updated (both document as well as
    PM/Calibration stickers).
  • Perform type conversion including equipment fine-tuning and buy-off before releasing it to production.
  • Perform equipment repair and troubleshooting, maintaining it at minimum downtime.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of spare parts.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians on equipment upgrades.
  • Compliance with CSR, EHS, QM, ESD, 5S standard and cleanroom protocol.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Material / Electrical / Electronic / Chemical Engineering
  • Experience working in a high-volume and high product mix manufacturing environment preferably in semi-conductor Assembly manufacturing.
  • Dynamic, resourceful, self-motivated and have strong communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to set priority and plan/organize the tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of SPC and MSA preferred.
