Job summary

FUKUYAMA ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Supervisor to assist engineers in tunnelling and underground structure work, ensuring projects run to schedule and compliance with safety rules.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in temporary works supervision, a BCSS-T certificate, and the ability to train field crews on segment erection and related tasks; shifts include day and night.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in supervision of temporary works and underground structure or tunnelling.
• Possess Certificate in Building Construction Safety Supervisor and BCSS-T.
• Must know how to do hands-on training to perform erection of segments, ring building, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support Engineers in carrying out works as assigned, and ensuring that the works are carried out to schedule and in accordance to relevant regulations
• Manage and supervise site workers for each shift
• Ensure completion of work in accordance to main contractor program and requirements safely with no accidents and incidents
• Troubleshooting and submit in-house report
• Supervise and coordinate activities of tunnel construction crew engaged in sinking shafts, boring tunnels, placing tunnel segments, moving shield forward, and excavating in front of shield.
