Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for M&E works.
  • Perform, measurement, cost analysis and value engineering.
  • Prepare tender documents, specifications, and contracts for M&E works.
  • Evaluate and negotiate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Award contracts and manage procurement for M&E systems.
  • Monitor and track changes to the project scope, design, and schedule, and adjust budgets accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and ensure cost control measures are in place.
  • Assess variations and claims related to M&E works.
  • Prepare regular cost reports and provide updates to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for M&E costs, contracts, and payments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's of Science in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in M&E quantity surveying, 5-8 years for senior position.
  • Proficient in cost estimation software, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Naviswork and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and M&E systems.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
