Job summary
A construction company is seeking a Project Assistant to support the Project Manager in overseeing construction site activities. The role involves ensuring that M&E site works adhere to schedules and approved drawings, conducting inspections, and managing subcontractor records. Ideal candidates will have a Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, sound knowledge of MEP services, and strong organizational and leadership skills.
Qualifications
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent.
- Knowledge of MEP services and familiarity with local code of practice.
- Good organizational and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist and support Project Manager in monitoring the progress of construction site.
- Prepare inspection forms and conduct site inspections upon completion of works.
- Manage and maintain detailed records of M & E subcontractors work progress and site inspection.

Job Descriptions
- Assist and support Project Manager in monitoring the progress of construction site.
- Ensure all M & E site works are completed on schedule and in accordance to approved shop drawings and MOS.
- Prepare inspection forms and conduct site inspection upon completion of works.
- Highligh and resolve any non compliance issue that arises at construction site.
- To manage and maintain detailed records of M & E subcontractors work progress and site inspection.
- To verify work completion on M & E work progress carried out by M & E contractors.
- To be able to liaise and communicte with clients, consultants and authorities on technical matters.
- Attend internal and external meeting if required.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
