Senior M&E Coordination Engineer — Projects & DLP

Job summary

PeopleSearch in Singapore is seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator for large-scale building projects. You will oversee and coordinate M&E works across multiple sites during construction, completion, and DLP, review shop drawings, O&M manuals, and method statements, and liaise with clients and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has a degree in mechanical/electrical/building services engineering and at least 5 years of M&E coordination experience in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant M&E coordination experience in Singapore's building construction industry.
• Good knowledge of M&E systems, building services coordination and local statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate M&E works across multiple projects during construction, completion and the Defects Liability Period (DLP).
• Review and follow up on shop drawings, O&M manuals, material submissions, method statements and related documentation.
• Coordinate M&E system training, inspections and maintenance schedules in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with TOP requirements, project specifications, quality and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve M&E-related defects, technical issues and site challenges, ensuring timely rectification with project teams and subcontractors.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination.
• Lead and participate in project coordination, progress, defect management and technical meetings.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare reports on M&E progress, defects and rectification works, while undertaking other duties as assigned.
