Job summary

M+ DESIGN ASSOCIATES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced interior designer to lead design phases for luxury hospitality projects.

You will work closely with the Design Director and project teams to ensure designs meet contractual and client requirements, while coordinating with consultants and clients as needed. You will produce tender and construction drawings, review shop drawings and materials, and manage deadlines across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design; 5+ years in luxury hospitality.
• Strong interior design concepts and documentation skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent presentation, meticulous, team player, positive attitude.
• Experience with international hotel operators and consultants.
• Excellent English communication; Mandarin an added advantage.
• China luxury hospitality or F&B project experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of all design phases including space planning and details.
• Collaborate with Design Director and project teams to satisfy contractual and client requirements.
• Coordinate with other consultants and clients as needed.
• Produce full sets of tender and construction drawings / specifications.
• Ensure project assignments are completed within deadlines.
• Review shop drawings, samples, strike-offs, and materials for compliance.
• Participate in project meetings and client presentations.
• Travel internationally for presentations, coordination meetings and site visits.
• Handle multiple projects with flexibility and efficiency.
• Coordinate, delegate and mentor subordinates to support problem solving.
