Job summary

PTT International Trading Pte Ltd seeks an experienced LNG Origination & Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end cargo schedules, vessel movements, and related contractual obligations in a fast-paced trading environment.

You will liaise with traders, charterers, risk, legal, and finance teams; ensure deadlines are met; manage financial securities; and optimize operational processes to maximize throughput and minimize costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of LNG experience, including LNG origination.
• Proven LNG contract expertise and cost control.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end LNG cargo schedules, lifting plans, and vessel movements.
• Meet all contractual operational deadlines (ADP notifications, ETA updates, cargo nomination notices).
• Handle shipping operations for chartered vessels.
• Arrange financial securities as required.
• Appoint independent inspectors, expeditors and ship agents.
• Calculate and negotiate laytime, demurrage, boil-off/gas consumption claims, and operational price exposure.
• Negotiate term/spot contracts with suppliers/buyers and review terms.
• Serve as operational focal point for traders, charterer, risk management, legal, and finance teams.
• Ensure operational information is updated in the system of record in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain records to safeguard Company’s legal & financial obligations.
• Set up monthly loading/discharging program (including ADP) with negotiation with supplier/buyer.
• Update daily market price input as well as deal key-in into trade support system.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with all relevant stakeholders both internal and external to ensure smooth, optimal operations.
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Ensure all contractual operational deadlines (e.g., ADP notifications, ETA updates, cargo nomination notices) are strictly met.
• Handle shipping operations for chartered vessels.
• Ensure all necessary financial securities are in place.
• Appoint independent inspectors, expeditors and ship agents.
• Calculate and negotiate laytime, demurrage, boil-off/gas consumption claims, and operational price exposure, ensuring timely recovery of costs.
• Negotiation of term/spot contract with suppliers/buyers & review terms/conditions.
• Serve as the main operational focal point for traders, charterer, risk management, legal, and finance teams
• Ensure operational information is updated in the system of record in a timely and accurate manner.

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
• More than 10 years of working experience in LNG.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in LNG origination is a must.
