Job description

We are looking for an administrative professional to join our Practice Group Support Services (PGSS) team to collaborate with our Disputes department by providing administrative and Litigation filing support services.

Your key responsibilities in this role are:

  1. Answering inquiries and providing information regarding Singapore court processes and procedures, including filing deadlines, requirements, and costs.
  2. Conducting simple legal research on queries relating to Singapore court processes and procedures.
  3. Reviewing and filing documents via the Litigation portal in connection with Singapore court proceedings.
  4. Composing routine correspondence and ensuring proper and timely distribution of notifications and documents received via our firm's centralized Litigation inbox.
  5. Maintaining filing records.
  6. Organizing information, creating reference manuals, and developing and maintaining standard operating procedures related to Singapore court processes and procedures.

  • A diploma or certificate in legal studies, and familiarity with the legal industry/Singapore courts filing procedures and rules would be advantageous but are not essential.
  • Interested in researching and retrieving information from various sources (including legal sources) and/or acquiring the knowledge to do so.
  • Experience providing efficient administrative services, including adherence to office procedures and policies.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to use email and online communication systems.
  • Ability to respond to routine inquiries and direct calls from lawyers and support staff.
  • Ability to compose routine/standard correspondence and ensure content accuracy with attention to detail.
  • Organizational skills to prioritize and resolve conflicting priorities to meet deadlines.
  • A team player with a can-do attitude.
