Job summary

Lenovo Singapore is seeking a Cloud Engineer to manage Linux/UNIX servers in an enterprise setting. The role focuses on security hardening, monitoring, and cloud resource provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

You will collaborate with Development and DevOps teams, handle incidents, optimize cloud usage, and support efficient deployments across AWS/Azure environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS SysOps, AWS DevOps, Azure solutions expert.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Linux/UNIX servers in an enterprise environment.
• Harden Linux security per CIS guidance and verify compliance.
• Monitor health, performance, and security of cloud resources.
• Provision and automate resources using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Support DevOps and development teams during deployments.
• Handle L2 incidents, service requests, and escalations related to cloud infra.
