As a Test Product Engineering – Line Disposition engineer, you will provide hands‑on engineering and production support to ensure smooth test-floor operations, timely product disposition, and effective resolution of product and process abnormalities.
What You Will Do
- Provide day-to-day engineering support for product, test, process, and production-related issues.
- Perform on‑hold lot disposition by validating and analyzing product data, test results, and relevant engineering information.
- Conduct low‑yield verification, data collection, and analysis to identify abnormalities, trends, and potential quality risks.
- Review test and product data to determine appropriate disposition and support timely production recovery.
- Work closely with Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other cross‑functional teams to investigate and resolve issues.
- Verify, document, and communicate abnormal lots and required actions to relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit hold‑lot reports and communicate disposition status through established channels.
- Review and execute customer requirements and instructions accurately and within the required timeline.
- Execute post‑process activities according to customer requirements and established procedures.
- Track open issues and hold lots through closure to minimize production downtime and cycle‑time impact.
- Maintain accurate documentation and traceability for all engineering analysis, validation, and disposition activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve yield, product quality, productivity, cycle time, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure all activities comply with company procedures, quality standards, engineering requirements, and customer expectations.
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant Education Nitec/ Higher Nitec in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, product engineering, test engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related production environment is an advantage.
