Job summary

FPOV is seeking a Senior Lighting Designer for its Singapore studio for a 6-month maternity cover, with potential extension. The role calls for leadership across concept to completion, collaborating with Directors, Associates, and a global team.

You should bring at least 5 years in lighting consultancy, have luxury hospitality project experience, and be proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and BIM/Revit. Hybrid working is available in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an independent lighting consultancy.
• Strong experience in luxury hospitality projects and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven ability to lead lighting design projects.
• Working knowledge of BIM/Revit and sustainability frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day project delivery with support from Directors and Associates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, interior designers, consultants, and developers.
• Collaborate closely with the Singapore studio and wider global team.
• Develop lighting concepts, including sketches, renders, and mood imagery.
• Clearly communicate design intent to clients and project teams.
• Undertake proof-of-concept calculations and modelling (where applicable).
• Produce drawings and supporting documentation.
• Specify lighting equipment and control systems.
• Provide on-site support during construction and attend commissioning.
